Time Magazine has just published an opinion piece of the US Election. But in a bizarre and sinister twist, publishing the following section will see your social media account - and you -deleted.
“a well-funded cabal of powerful people, ranging across industries and ideologies, working together behind the scenes to influence perceptions, change rules and laws, steer media coverage and control the flow of information. They were not rigging the election; they were fortifying it.”
“They were not rigging the election; they were fortifying it.” A truly bizarre claim. Political Commentator Tim Cast published the section on his Twitter account last week and the Tweet was immediately locked by the company, preventing any further comments being added and was flagged with the sinister warning “This claim of election fraud is disputed, and this Tweet can’t be replied to, Retweeted or liked due to a risk of violence”.
”A risk of violence”? For publishing a quote from an article?
If you remember the internet ‘dress’ conundrum from a few years ago this will be familiar territory. Was the dress white and gold or blue and black? It appeared that two people could see two different colours depending on various personal psychological factors, neither was right or wrong. The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election seems to have the same effect. If you believe the election was rigged (or fortified) you will see this article as a brazen admission of guilt. If you believe the election was fair, you will see an honest account of why it was.
Time to debate the article right? Wrong. Unlike the ‘dress’ paradox, if you debate the Time article in the wrong way, your social media account will be blocked, suspended or restricted. If you debate the article in the right way, you will be ratio’d, boosted and generally encouraged on social media.
This is propaganda. Psychological manipulation of opinion (truth?) by association. Mention this in the wrong way and you will be labelled Qanon/Far Right/White Supremacist. The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election is a weaponised report designed to spark anger and create debate with the sole purpose of ‘exposing’ the insurrectionists, the enemy and the wrong thinkers for further culling.
Unlike The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election, the dress was allowed debate and analysis and examination. It wasn’t controversial. It wasn’t ‘two colours at once’. It relied on complex neuroscience and some basic digital manipulation to fool half the people, to seek vulnerabilities within their character, within their perception of reality, to mislead them, to cause controversy, to discredit people who see truth. To instruct their brain to lie to them.
Except with the dress, if you stumbled across the right answer, you weren’t deleted from society.
FACT: The dress was blue and black. Here is the original dress: https://www.romanoriginals.co.uk/thedress
